Tyler Hoitsma | community director | Atlanta, usa

Tyler grew up in Ramsey, NJ and began playing soccer since the age of 7.  He was blessed to pursue his dream to play college soccer at Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL.  In May of 2015, he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and minor in Psychology.  The Lord put a burden on Tyler's heart to serve at risk youth and juveniles.  He want to make an impact by giving a hope and future to the kids he built relationships with.  This is only possible by sharing about the grace and love of our Heavenly Father.

Before interning with FCA Soccer ATL, Tyler had no experience with Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  He got to experience the impact that FCA is making in the summer of 2015.  Tyler really felt being called by the Lord to full time ministry after all his experiences.  By the grace of God, He was able to come on staff in December of 2015.  FCA has allowed Tyler to leverage his passions for the Gospel, youth, and soccer to have an impact in the greater Atlanta area.
