Fann Family Story

Christmas is a time of joy and abundance for many, but for some it can be a season where hardships are magnified, and stressors are amplified. For one of the families who has children in UPPER90's Mentorship Soccer Program, Christmas was going to be on hold for this year. The parents of this family had already communicated with their eight children that given the financial situation of the family, Christmas would need probably need to happen later in the year. The children understood and agreed. But through the amazing partnership of our generous donors, UPPER90 was able to use the blessings bestowed upon us to extend blessings to others who were enduring important unmet needs. Not only was UPPER90able to give the children presents and something to enjoy opening on Christmas morning, but the family who was struggling to put food on the table was also blessed with gift cards to help them through this tough time.
